What is Caption?

Caption is a Small Press and Comics Festival. It was the longest-running comics festival in the UK until it went on hiatus in 2017, hence the “Rebirth!”

What makes Caption Special?

Caption allows creators and fans to meet in a relaxed, social, non-sales focused environment. Instead of stalls, there is a communal sales table run by the organizers plus talks and workshops running throughout the day. Learn about comics, make friends and swap tips.

Caption is an inclusive space. Several of the organization team are neurodivergent, and we will have a chill-out/quiet space with lego & stim toys.

Where/when is Caption 2025?

Caption 2025 will take place 16th – 17th August weekend in Oxford, at Seacourt Hall, Botley, Oxford OX2 9TH. Put the date in your diary!
